Randy Pausch - The Last Lecture

When I saw this clip of randy pausch's last lecture it made me reflect. I am also a lecturer in college and if I know I am going to die what would I say to my audience. What would I say to my family and friends? What my eulogy would be?

The Secret

I attracted this video onto my desktop and later saw it on dvd. It brought back all my experiences that I have gone through in my life and made me realise that I attracted them all. I now know that I have the capability of creating my destiny. What about you? Can you create yours too? I believe that you can! Do you believe?

Freedom from Fear by Mark Matteson

This book is a prelude must read after 7 habits by Stephen Covey. The 2 habit "Begin with an end in mind" is expanded in this book. Stephen Covey talks about how would you like your eulogy to be. And reading this book is exactly how your eulogy should be. Tears rolled down my eyes when I closed the last chapter. If I would ever have an eulogy, this would be the one that I would have. The question for all of us is when we leave gaia what is the legacy are you leaving behind and what do you want to be remembered for.

50 Success Classics: Winning Wisdom for Life and Work from 50 Landmark Books

I brought my students to the college library for a quiz. Sadly the library does not get much attention from the students. As I was browsing I stumbled upon this book and started to read the 50 success classics. This book summarises all the great leaders of our century and my appetite got stirred up. Thereafter I decided to buy and read all the books. I would strongly recommend any one wanting self and personal development to read this 50 classic summaries and would help you to make a decision as to which one you would like to invest in. My thoughts, invest in all the 50 authors, its worth the weight in gold.

The Magic of Thinking Big

This Book shifted my thought process. Being born to a simple and average family, we were told not to think big and settle for mediocrity. But Dr David Schwartz challenges you other wise and gets you to rethink and challenge mediocrity and to strive for greatness.
